To descale the Jura WE8, first remove the water filter if present. Fill the water tank with the descaling solution and run the descaling program as indicated in the machine’s manual, rinsing thoroughly afterward.
Ensure that the machine is preheated and that the cup is warmed before brewing. You can adjust the brewing temperature in the machine settings to achieve a hotter coffee.
Use the automatic milk system cleaning function daily. Disassemble the frother components weekly, and clean them with warm water and mild detergent.
The machine might need a reset. Switch it off and on again. Ensure the grounds container and drip tray are properly inserted.
Opt for medium-roast coffee beans to prevent oily residues that can clog the grinder. Avoid flavored or caramelized beans.
Replace the water filter every two months, or as soon as the machine indicates it needs changing, to ensure optimal water quality and machine performance.
Check if the grinder is clogged and clean it as necessary. Adjust the grind setting while the grinder is running to prevent jams.
Use the machine’s menu to select your preferred coffee strength, ranging from mild to strong, depending on your taste preference.
Ensure all components like the water tank and drip tray are properly seated. Check for cracks or wear in seals and replace them if necessary.
Regularly clean the machine, descale it as required, replace filters, and use quality coffee beans. Follow the maintenance schedule in the user manual.
