To descale your Jura Impressa S9, first ensure the machine is off. Fill the water tank with a descaling solution and water. Turn the machine on, place a container under the frother, and follow the on-screen prompts to start the descaling process. Be sure to rinse the water tank thoroughly after the cycle is complete.
If the milk froth is inadequate, check that the frother is clean and free from blockages. Ensure the milk is cold and fresh. Also, inspect the milk tube for any cracks or damage that might affect suction.
The brew group is not removable in the Jura Impressa S9. Use the machine's automatic cleaning program by inserting a cleaning tablet into the bypass doser and following the on-screen instructions.
The 'Fill System' message indicates that the machine needs to be primed. Fill the water tank, place a container under the frother, and turn the steam knob on to allow water to flow through the system.
To adjust the coffee strength, use the rotary selector to choose your desired coffee type. Then, press the coffee strength button and select the strength level using the rotary selector. Confirm your choice by pressing the rotary selector again.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the drip tray and grounds container, descaling the machine when prompted, replacing the water filter as needed, and performing automatic cleaning cycles with Jura cleaning tablets.
Weak coffee may result from a coarse grind setting, incorrect coffee strength selection, or stale coffee beans. Adjust the grind setting to a finer grind, choose a stronger coffee setting, and ensure beans are fresh.
To reset to factory settings, turn off the machine. Press and hold the "P" button while turning the machine back on, then navigate to the reset option using the rotary selector and confirm the reset.
If the grinder is not working, check for any obstructions or blockages in the grinder. Ensure the bean hopper is adequately filled and the grinder setting is not too fine. If issues persist, consult Jura customer support.
To change the language, press the "P" button to enter the programming mode. Use the rotary selector to navigate to the language settings, select your preferred language, and confirm the change.
