To clean the Jura ENA Micro 1, remove the drip tray and grounds container, then rinse them with warm water. Use Jura cleaning tablets for the brew group by following the manufacturer's instructions. Regularly wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
Check the power cord connection and ensure the machine is plugged into a working outlet. Verify that the power switch at the back of the machine is turned on. If the problem persists, contact Jura customer support.
Fill the water tank with Jura descaling solution and water as per the instructions. Press the maintenance button and follow the on-screen prompts. Ensure you have a container to catch the dispensed liquid.
Ensure you are using fresh, high-quality coffee beans. Check that the grinder settings are correctly adjusted for your preferred strength. Clean the machine regularly to prevent buildup that can affect flavor.
Open the bean container lid. While the grinder is running, turn the adjustment dial to the desired setting. Finer settings produce stronger coffee, while coarser settings result in milder coffee.
Refer to the user manual to identify the error code. Follow the recommended troubleshooting steps. If the issue is unresolved, reset the machine or contact Jura support for assistance.
Press and hold the ‘P’ button until the maintenance menu appears. Navigate to ‘Factory Reset’ and confirm your selection. Note that this will erase all personalized settings.
Check if the water tank is filled and properly seated. Ensure that the coffee grounds are not too fine, which can block the system. Clean the spout and brew group to clear any obstructions.
Replace the water filter every two months or after 50 liters of water have been used, whichever comes first. This ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your machine.
The Jura ENA Micro 1 is designed for use with whole coffee beans. It does not have a bypass doser for pre-ground coffee, so it’s recommended to use fresh beans for the best flavor.
