Ensure the stove is placed on a non-combustible surface and maintain clearances as specified in the manual. Connect the stove to a suitable chimney system, ensuring all joints are sealed properly.
Use seasoned hardwood with moisture content below 20% for optimal performance and efficiency. Avoid using treated or painted wood.
Check for blockages in the chimney, ensure the stove door is sealed properly, and verify that the air vents are adjusted correctly.
Use a damp cloth or sponge with mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners to prevent scratching the glass surface.
Regular maintenance should be performed at the start and end of the heating season, including cleaning the flue, checking seals, and inspecting for any damage.
Ensure the air vents are not obstructed, use only dry, seasoned wood, and confirm that the chimney is not blocked.
The Jotul F 602 CB is designed for wood burning only. Converting it to other fuels is not recommended and can void the warranty.
Burn only seasoned wood, maintain a hot fire, and clean the chimney regularly to prevent creosote buildup.
Allow the stove to cool, lightly sand the affected area, and reapply high-temperature stove paint according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Use fully seasoned hardwood, ensure the air vents are open during combustion, and regularly clean the stove and chimney to enhance airflow.
