Ensure the lawn mower is on a flat surface. Check that the fuel tank is filled and the oil levels are adequate. Engage the choke if the engine is cold. Hold the handlebar securely and pull the starter rope firmly until the engine starts.
First, check the fuel level and ensure the fuel is fresh. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Confirm that the air filter is clean. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact a professional technician.
Regularly sharpen the mower blades to ensure clean cuts. Adjust the cutting height to suit the grass type and conditions. Ensure the deck is clean and free from debris to maintain optimal airflow and cutting efficiency.
It is recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then after every 25 hours of operation or once per mowing season. Always refer to the user manual for specific guidelines.
Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content as it can damage the engine components.
Clean the mower thoroughly, removing grass clippings and debris. Drain the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer. Store the mower in a dry, sheltered area. Disconnect the spark plug to prevent accidental starts.
Excessive vibration may be due to an unbalanced or damaged blade. Check the blade for bends or cracks and balance it if necessary. Also, ensure that all bolts and fasteners are tight and secure.
Remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. If it's a foam filter, wash it with warm soapy water, rinse, and allow it to dry completely. For paper filters, gently tap it to remove debris or replace it if heavily soiled.
Check the blade for sharpness and balance. Adjust the tire pressure to ensure even contact with the ground. Inspect the deck for warping or damage and adjust the cutting height as needed.
Disconnect the spark plug wire and remove any debris around the plug area. Use a spark plug wrench to remove the old plug. Install the new plug by threading it in by hand and then tightening it with the wrench. Reconnect the spark plug wire.
