Ensure that large items do not block the spray arms and that all dishes are angled correctly for optimal water flow. Place pots and pans on the lower rack and lighter items like plastic containers on the top rack.
Check the drain hose for any blockages or kinks. Ensure that the sink drain is clear. Clean the dishwasher filter and ensure the garbage disposal is clear if connected.
It is recommended to clean the filter once a month to ensure optimal performance and prevent clogs.
Use a high-quality dishwasher detergent, either in tablet, powder, or gel form. Avoid using regular dish soap as it can cause excessive suds.
Spots can be caused by hard water. Use a rinse aid to help prevent spots and ensure the water softener is functioning properly if your model includes one.
To reset the dishwasher, turn off the appliance and unplug it from the power source. Wait about 5 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Ensure that no items are obstructing the spray arms. Check for loose items in the dishwasher and make sure dishes are loaded properly. Inspect the filter and spray arms for debris.
Ensure that the rinse aid dispenser is full. Select a higher temperature wash cycle to improve drying and open the door slightly after the cycle completes to allow steam to escape.
Run an empty cycle with a cup of white vinegar placed on the top rack to remove odors and mineral deposits. Wipe down the interior with a damp cloth after the cycle.
Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. Check that the appliance is connected to the power supply and that the circuit breaker is not tripped. Verify the delay start is not activated.
