To break in the engine, ride the motorcycle at varying speeds, avoiding full throttle and high RPMs for the first 600 miles (1000 km). This helps ensure the engine components wear evenly.
Use a high-quality synthetic motorcycle oil with a viscosity of 10W-40 that meets API SL, JASO MA2 specifications for optimal performance.
Regular service intervals are every 6,200 miles (10,000 km) or 12 months, whichever comes first. Refer to the owner's manual for specifics on maintenance tasks.
Check the battery for charge and connections, ensure the kill switch is off, and verify there's fuel in the tank. If issues persist, consult with a dealer.
Loosen the rear axle nut, adjust the chain tension using the adjuster bolts until the chain has 20-30 mm slack, then retighten the axle nut.
Maintain a tire pressure of 29 psi (2.0 bar) for the front tire and 32 psi (2.2 bar) for the rear tire for optimal handling and performance.
Maintain proper tire pressure, perform regular maintenance, use recommended oil, and avoid aggressive acceleration to improve fuel efficiency.
Engine overheating can be caused by low coolant levels, a faulty thermostat, or blocked radiators. Check these components and consult a mechanic if needed.
To replace brake pads, remove the caliper bolts, slide the caliper off the disc, remove old pads, insert new ones, and reattach the caliper securely.
Consult the owner's manual to identify the warning light. Address issues such as low oil pressure or overheating promptly, and contact a dealer if needed.
