To start the Husqvarna TS 248TXD, ensure the mower is on a flat surface, engage the parking brake, set the throttle to the 'fast' position, turn the ignition key to the start position, and release once the engine starts.
Check the fuel level and ensure fresh fuel is used. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage, and clean or replace if necessary. Verify that the battery is charged and connections are secure. If the problem persists, consult the manual or a professional technician.
Change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 50 hours or once a season. Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F and SAE 5W-30 for colder conditions.
Maintain the front tires at 14 PSI and the rear tires at 10 PSI to ensure optimal performance and safety.
After each use, use a garden hose to rinse off grass clippings and debris from the mower deck. For more thorough cleaning, use a scraper to remove any built-up grass and debris. Ensure the mower is off and the blades have stopped before cleaning.
Uneven cutting may be caused by a dull blade, improper tire pressure, or an unlevel mower deck. Sharpen or replace the blade, check and adjust tire pressure, and level the deck if necessary.
To extend the battery life, ensure it is fully charged before storage, disconnect the battery when not in use for extended periods, and store it in a cool, dry place. Regularly check and clean the battery terminals.
At the start of the season, change the oil, check the air filter, inspect and sharpen the blades, check tire pressure, clean the mower deck, and fully charge the battery.
To replace the air filter, remove the air filter cover, take out the old filter, and insert a new one. Ensure it is seated correctly, and then replace the cover securely.
Excessive vibration may be caused by an unbalanced blade, loose parts, or debris caught in the mower deck. Check and balance the blade, tighten any loose parts, and clear any debris from the deck.
