To start the Husqvarna 125B Leaf Blower, ensure the stop switch is in the 'on' position. Pump the primer bulb until fuel appears in the bulb, set the choke to the closed position, and pull the starter handle until the engine fires. Then, open the choke and pull the starter handle again to start the engine.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 89 and mix it with high-quality 2-cycle oil at a ratio of 50:1. Avoid using ethanol blends higher than E10.
If the blower won't start, check for fuel issues, such as old or improperly mixed fuel. Ensure the spark plug is clean and properly gapped. Inspect the air filter for dirt or blockages, and ensure the choke is in the correct position.
Remove the air filter cover and take out the air filter. Wash it in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and let it dry completely. Lightly oil the filter before reinstalling it and securing the cover.
Check and clean the air filter every 5 hours of operation. Inspect the spark plug and replace it if necessary every season or 25 hours of use. Regularly check fuel lines, and clean cooling fins and air intake.
If the blower stalls, inspect the fuel for contamination or improper mix. Check the air filter for clogs, and ensure the spark arrestor screen is clean. Verify the spark plug condition and gap, and ensure the carburetor is properly adjusted.
While the Husqvarna 125B is designed for outdoor use, it is not recommended to operate it in wet conditions to prevent damage to the blower and ensure safety. Use in dry conditions whenever possible.
To adjust the carburetor, locate the idle speed screw and the low and high-speed adjustment screws. Adjust them according to the specifications in the manual to ensure optimal performance. It's recommended to have a professional perform this task if unsure.
Excessive vibration can be caused by loose or damaged parts. Inspect the impeller, blower tubes, and engine mounts. Tighten any loose screws or replace damaged components. If the problem persists, consult a professional technician.
To store the blower, empty the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops. Clean the blower thoroughly, including the air filter and cooling fins. Store it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and corrosive materials.
