To break in the engine, start by warming it up and then ride at varying speeds, gradually increasing the throttle. Avoid full throttle and excessive revving for the first 5 hours of operation.
Use a high-quality two-stroke engine oil with a 60:1 fuel-to-oil ratio for optimal performance and protection.
Clean the air filter after every ride in dusty conditions or every 3-5 rides in cleaner environments to ensure optimal engine performance.
Maintain a tire pressure of 12 psi (0.8 bar) for both front and rear tires for optimal handling and performance.
Adjust the suspension by turning the rebound and compression clickers on the forks and shock absorber to suit your riding style and terrain. Consult the owner's manual for specific settings.
Check the fuel level, spark plug condition, and ensure the kill switch is in the correct position. Also, inspect the carburetor for blockages.
Drain the fuel, clean the bike thoroughly, lubricate moving parts, and keep it in a dry, climate-controlled environment. Remove the battery and store it separately if applicable.
Replace the spark plug every 10-15 hours of use or as needed, depending on riding conditions and engine performance.
Regularly clean and lubricate the chain every 5 hours of riding or after riding in muddy conditions. Check for proper tension and adjust as needed.
Loosen the handlebar clamp bolts, adjust the handlebars to the desired angle, and then retighten the bolts to the specified torque in the owner's manual.
