To start the Husqvarna RA850 Brushcutter, ensure the stop switch is in the "on" position, prime the fuel bulb until it is full, set the choke to full position if the engine is cold, pull the starter handle until the engine fires, and then set the choke to the run position.
Use a mixture of unleaded gasoline and high-quality two-stroke engine oil at a ratio of 50:1. Ensure the gasoline has an octane rating of at least 89.
Check and clean the air filter after every 25 hours of use or more frequently in dusty conditions. Replace the filter if it is damaged or heavily soiled.
If the engine does not start, check the fuel level, ensure the stop switch is in the "on" position, inspect the spark plug for damage or fouling, and ensure the choke is set correctly. If issues persist, consult the user manual or contact a service professional.
To replace the cutting line, turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug. Remove the trimmer head cover, take out the old line, and insert a new line of the recommended diameter into the spool, winding it evenly in the direction indicated. Reattach the head cover securely.
Regular maintenance includes checking and cleaning the air filter, inspecting the spark plug, checking the fuel filter, inspecting the cutting equipment, and ensuring that all nuts and bolts are tight.
To store the brushcutter, clean it thoroughly, drain the fuel tank, and run the engine until it stops. Remove the spark plug and add a few drops of oil into the cylinder, then slowly pull the starter handle to distribute the oil. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced or damaged cutting attachment. Inspect the blade or trimmer head for damage and ensure it is properly balanced and securely attached. Replace damaged parts as necessary.
Always wear protective gear, including safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, and sturdy footwear. Be aware of your surroundings and avoid using the brushcutter near people or animals. Follow all safety instructions in the user manual.
Improve performance by using fresh, properly mixed fuel, maintaining sharp cutting blades, regularly cleaning the air filter, and conducting routine maintenance checks. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for optimal operation.
