Regular maintenance includes checking and cleaning the air filter, inspecting the spark plug, changing the oil, and sharpening the blades. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions and intervals.
Ensure the battery is charged, check the fuel level, inspect the spark plug for damage, and verify that the fuel valve is open. If the issue persists, consult a certified technician.
The cutting height can be adjusted using the height adjustment lever located near the operator's seat. Ensure the mower is on a flat surface and engine is off before making adjustments.
Uneven cutting may be due to dull blades, incorrect deck height, or clogged discharge chute. Sharpen the blades, adjust the deck height, and clear any clogs to resolve the issue.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using ethanol blends greater than E10, as they can damage the engine.
Ensure the mower is off and the spark plug is disconnected. Use a hose to wash away grass clippings and debris. Ensure the deck is dry before storage to prevent rust.
Check for debris lodged in the blades, unbalanced blades, or loose engine components. Tighten any loose parts and clear obstructions to minimize vibrations.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 50 hours or at the start of each season. Always use the recommended oil type as specified in the manual.
Overheating may be caused by a dirty air filter, low oil level, or clogged cooling fins. Clean the air filter, check the oil level, and remove debris from the cooling system.
Clean the mower thoroughly, perform necessary maintenance, and store in a dry place. Disconnect the battery and add a fuel stabilizer to the tank to prevent fuel degradation.
