To start the Husqvarna HD800BBC, first ensure the fuel valve is open. Then, press the primer bulb 3-5 times, engage the blade control, and pull the starter rope briskly.
Use SAE 30 oil for warmer temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and SAE 5W-30 for colder conditions. Ensure regular oil checks and changes for optimal performance.
Disconnect the spark plug, tilt the mower to its side, and use a hose to remove grass clippings. Avoid using a pressure washer as it may damage components.
Check the spark plug for wear or damage, ensure the air filter is clean, and verify that the fuel is fresh. Replace components as needed.
Sharpen the blades after approximately 25 hours of use or if you notice uneven cutting. Regularly inspect blades for wear or damage.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, remove the old spark plug with a wrench, and install a new one. Ensure the gap is set to the manufacturer's specifications.
Use the height adjustment levers located on each wheel. Choose the same notch position on each lever for an even cut.
Excessive vibration may be due to an unbalanced blade, loose hardware, or damaged components. Check and tighten all bolts and balance the blade.
Drain the fuel system or add a fuel stabilizer, clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, and store it in a dry, cool location.
Check the drive belt for wear or damage and ensure the transmission cable is properly connected. Replace or adjust as necessary.
