The recommended engine oil for the Husqvarna FE 350s 2022 is a premium synthetic 10W-50. The oil capacity is approximately 1.2 liters (1.27 US quarts).
It is recommended to inspect and clean the air filter after every ride, especially in dusty conditions. Replace it every 15 hours of riding or if it shows signs of damage or excessive dirt.
For optimal performance, maintain a tire pressure of approximately 1.0 bar (14.5 psi) for off-road use. Adjust based on terrain and riding conditions.
To adjust the suspension, refer to the owner's manual for baseline settings. Use the clickers on the forks and shock absorber to adjust compression and rebound. Make small adjustments and test ride to find the best setup for your weight and riding style.
During the first 1-2 hours of riding, avoid full throttle and high RPMs. Vary the engine speed and avoid prolonged idling to ensure proper engine break-in. Check and tighten all fasteners after the initial ride.
First, check the battery charge and connections. Ensure the fuel is fresh and the fuel valve is open. Inspect the spark plug for wear or fouling. If the problem persists, inspect the fuel pump and ignition system.
The chain should have approximately 55 mm (2.17 inches) of slack measured midway between the front and rear sprockets. Adjust the chain tension using the adjusters on the rear axle.
To replace the brake pads, first remove the caliper from the disc. Take out the old pads and push the caliper pistons back. Insert new pads, ensuring they are correctly seated, and reattach the caliper. Test the brakes before riding.
If the engine overheats, stop immediately and let it cool down. Check the coolant level and ensure the radiator is not clogged with dirt. Inspect the cooling fan and thermostat for proper operation. Avoid riding in extreme heat conditions.
For long-term storage, clean the motorcycle thoroughly and lubricate all moving parts. Drain the fuel system or add a fuel stabilizer. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Elevate the motorcycle to prevent tire degradation. Cover it to protect from dust and moisture.
