To break in the engine, avoid full throttle starts and hard stopping for the first 600 miles. Vary engine speeds and avoid constant rpm to allow engine components to seat properly.
The recommended tire pressure is 22 psi for the front tire and 25 psi for the rear tire under normal riding conditions. Adjust as necessary for off-road or high-speed conditions.
To adjust the suspension for off-road riding, increase the preload on the rear shock absorber and adjust the front fork compression and rebound to softer settings for better shock absorption.
Husqvarna recommends using a high-quality synthetic engine oil with a viscosity of 10W-50 for optimal performance and engine protection.
Oil changes should be performed every 6,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. More frequent changes may be necessary under harsh operating conditions.
Remove the air filter and clean it with a non-flammable solvent. Allow it to dry completely before re-oiling with a foam filter oil. Reinstall carefully to ensure a proper seal.
Check the battery charge and connections, ensure the fuel is fresh, and inspect the spark plug for wear or fouling. If issues persist, consult a qualified technician.
Before each ride, check tire pressure, inspect the brakes, ensure all lights and signals are functioning, and verify that the chain is properly tensioned and lubricated.
To improve fuel efficiency, maintain the recommended tire pressure, avoid aggressive acceleration, perform regular maintenance, and ensure the air filter is clean.
If the engine overheats, stop riding immediately and allow the engine to cool. Check coolant levels and ensure the radiator is not obstructed. Seek professional assistance if the problem persists.
