To start the Husqvarna 6521CM, ensure the fuel valve is open, the throttle is set to the choke position, and the engine stop lever is held against the handle. Pull the starter cord briskly to start the engine.
Use SAE 30 oil for general use, or SAE 5W-30 for colder temperatures, to ensure optimal engine performance.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 25 hours of use or at the start of each mowing season.
Check the spark plug for wear or carbon buildup, ensure the air filter is clean, and verify that the fuel is fresh and not contaminated.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on each wheel and move it to the desired position. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Excessive vibration can be caused by a bent blade, loose hardware, or debris lodged in the mower deck. Inspect these areas and correct any issues found.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, tilt the mower carefully, and use a brush or hose to remove grass clippings and debris from the underside of the deck.
Regular maintenance includes checking the oil level, cleaning or replacing the air filter, inspecting the spark plug, and sharpening the mower blade.
Remove the spark plug wire, use a spark plug socket to unscrew the old plug, and install a new spark plug of the same type, ensuring it is properly gapped.
Check the drive belt for wear or damage, ensure the drive cable is properly adjusted, and inspect the wheels for obstructions. Replace or repair as necessary.
