To start the Husqvarna 525RXT Mark II Brushcutter, first ensure the stop switch is in the "I" position. Prime the fuel system by pressing the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible. Set the choke lever to the full choke position when starting a cold engine. Pull the starter handle until the engine fires, then move the choke to the half position and pull again until the engine starts.
Regular maintenance for your Husqvarna 525RXT Mark II includes cleaning the air filter, inspecting and cleaning the spark plug, checking and tightening all screws and nuts, and lubricating the gear housing. It's also important to regularly check for fuel leaks and ensure the cutting attachment is sharp and undamaged.
If your brushcutter won't start, check the following: ensure there is fresh fuel in the tank, the spark plug is clean and properly gapped, and the air filter is clean. Also, verify that the stop switch isn't engaged and that there are no fuel blockages. If problems persist, professional servicing may be required.
To replace the trimmer line, remove the trimmer head by unscrewing it in a counterclockwise direction. Open the head and remove the old line. Cut approximately 15 feet of new line and wind it evenly in the direction indicated on the spool. Secure the line in the notches before reassembling the head and attaching it back onto the brushcutter.
Use a high-quality unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 89 (RON) mixed with Husqvarna two-stroke oil at a ratio of 50:1. It is important to mix the fuel properly to prevent engine damage and maintain optimal performance.
Sharpen the blade as soon as you notice that the cutting performance has decreased. This can vary depending on usage but typically after several hours of use. Always ensure the blade is balanced after sharpening to avoid vibration that could damage the brushcutter.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced or damaged cutting attachment, loose parts, or an improperly mounted engine. Checking and balancing the blade, tightening all parts, and inspecting the drive shaft and engine mounts can help resolve this issue.
To clean the air filter, remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. Wash it in warm, soapy water and allow it to dry completely. If the filter is damaged or heavily soiled, replace it with a new one. Reinstall the filter and secure the cover.
Before storing the brushcutter, clean it thoroughly and perform all necessary maintenance. Empty the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops to clear fuel from the carburetor. Store the brushcutter in a cool, dry place, and ensure it is protected from dust and moisture.
Inspect the spark plug for signs of wear or deposits. A spark plug that appears burnt, has a damaged electrode, or has heavy carbon build-up should be replaced. A new spark plug will ensure efficient combustion and reliable starting.
