To start the Husqvarna 365 X-TORQ Chainsaw, ensure the chain brake is activated, pull the choke control out to the full extent, press the decompression valve, and pull the starter handle until the engine fires. Push the choke in halfway, then pull the starter handle again until the engine starts.
To maintain proper chain tension, use the chain tensioning screw on the side of the chainsaw. Ensure the chain is snug against the bar, but can still be pulled around easily by hand. Adjust as necessary before each use.
The air filter should be checked and cleaned after every 5 hours of use. If you are operating in a dusty environment, clean it more frequently to ensure optimal performance.
Use a high-quality unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 89, mixed with Husqvarna two-stroke oil at a ratio of 50:1 (2%).
To replace the chain, first ensure the chainsaw is off and the chain brake is engaged. Remove the bar nuts and the clutch cover. Take off the old chain, place the new chain on the bar, ensuring the direction is correct, and reassemble the clutch cover and bar nuts. Adjust the chain tension accordingly.
Stalling can be caused by an improperly adjusted carburetor, a clogged air filter, or old fuel. Check and clean the air filter, replace fuel if it’s old, and adjust the carburetor settings as per the user manual.
Ensure the air intake and cooling fins are free from debris. Check the air filter and replace it if necessary. Make sure you are using the correct fuel mix and that the chain is properly lubricated.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the air filter, checking and adjusting chain tension, inspecting the chain for wear, cleaning the cooling fins and air intake, and checking the spark plug condition.
Drain the fuel tank, clean the exterior, remove the chain and bar, and clean them thoroughly. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
Sharpen the chain using a round file and file guide, ensuring the correct angle is maintained. Alternatively, you can take it to a professional for sharpening. Regularly check the chain for wear and replace if necessary.
