Husqvarna 130 Operator's Manual V2

To start the Husqvarna 130 Chainsaw, ensure the chain brake is engaged, fill the fuel tank, and pull the choke control out to the full extent. Pull the starter handle until the engine fires, then push the choke in half-way and pull again until the chainsaw starts.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the air filter, checking and replacing the spark plug as needed, inspecting and adjusting the chain tension, lubricating the bar and chain, and checking for any loose bolts or fasteners.
If the chainsaw won't start, check the fuel level and quality, inspect the spark plug for wear or damage, ensure the air filter is clean, and verify that the choke is properly engaged.
The Husqvarna 130 Chainsaw requires a mixture of unleaded gasoline and high-quality two-stroke oil at a ratio of 50:1. Use fresh fuel to ensure optimal performance.
To tension the chain, loosen the bar nuts slightly, adjust the tensioning screw until the chain is snug against the bar but can still be pulled around by hand, then tighten the bar nuts securely.
Overheating may be caused by a clogged air filter, improper fuel mixture, or a dull chain. Ensure the air filter is clean, the fuel mixture is correct, and the chain is sharp and properly tensioned.
Sharpen the chain whenever you notice it cutting poorly or creating fine sawdust instead of coarse chips. Regular sharpening ensures efficient cutting and prolongs the life of the chain.
Use high-quality bar and chain oil specifically designed for chainsaws. This type of oil provides adequate lubrication and reduces friction during operation.
Remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. Wash it in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely before reinstalling. Replace the filter if it is damaged or excessively dirty.
If the chain is not cutting straight, check for unevenly sharpened teeth, improper chain tension, or a bent bar. Correct any issues with sharpening or tensioning, and replace the bar if it is bent.
