To start the Husqvarna 128PS Pole Saw, place the saw on a flat surface, press the primer bulb several times, set the choke to the 'start' position, hold the saw firmly, and pull the starter handle until the engine starts. Once started, move the choke to the 'run' position.
Use a mixture of unleaded gasoline and high-quality 2-cycle engine oil at a ratio of 50:1 for the Husqvarna 128PS Pole Saw. Ensure the gasoline has an octane rating of at least 89.
Check the fuel level, ensure the fuel mixture is correct, inspect the spark plug for fouling or damage, and verify that the air filter is clean. Ensure the choke is set correctly and the saw is primed.
Clean the air filter after every 5 hours of operation or more frequently if operating in dusty conditions. Replace the filter if it's damaged or excessively dirty.
To adjust the chain tension, loosen the bar nuts slightly, adjust the tensioning screw until the chain is snug against the bar but can still be pulled around by hand, then tighten the bar nuts securely.
Regularly sharpen the chain using a round file suited for the chain size, lubricate the chain with bar oil before each use, and inspect for wear or damage. Replace the chain if necessary.
Check if the chain is properly tensioned and sharp, examine the guide bar for damage, and ensure that all screws and nuts are tightened. Excessive vibration can indicate mechanical issues that need attention.
Clean the saw thoroughly, empty the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer, store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight, and keep the pole saw out of reach of children.
Wear protective gear including gloves, goggles, and hearing protection; maintain a firm grip; be aware of your surroundings; and never operate the saw above shoulder height.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, use a spark plug wrench to remove the old spark plug, check the gap on the new spark plug, install it, and reconnect the spark plug wire.
