To calibrate the incline, enter the engineering mode by pressing and holding the 'Incline +' and 'Speed -' buttons simultaneously for five seconds. Use the 'Incline +' and 'Incline -' buttons to adjust and calibrate as needed.
First, ensure the treadmill is unplugged. Check the belt tension by lifting it in the center. It should lift 2-3 inches. Adjust the tension using the adjustment bolts at the back of the treadmill. Turn clockwise to tighten.
To reset the console, simply unplug the treadmill from the electrical outlet for at least 30 seconds, then plug it back in. This should reset the machine.
It is recommended to lubricate the treadmill belt every three months or after every 150 miles of use, whichever comes first. Use a silicone-based lubricant.
Use a damp cloth to wipe down the treadmill after each use. Avoid using harsh chemicals. Ensure the machine is unplugged during cleaning. Regularly clean the motor cover and belt area.
This could be due to a loose power connection, a tripped circuit breaker, or an overheated motor. Check all connections and ensure the treadmill is on a dedicated circuit.
To adjust alignment, turn the adjustment bolts at the rear of the treadmill. Turn the left bolt clockwise to move the belt right, and the right bolt clockwise to move it left.
Check the power source and ensure the power switch is turned on. Inspect the power cord for damage. If the issue persists, contact Horizon Fitness support for assistance.
Regular maintenance is key. Lubricate the belt regularly, keep the area around the treadmill clean, ensure proper belt tension, and avoid overloading the treadmill with excessive weight.
The T71 treadmill requires a dedicated 120V outlet. It is important to avoid using extension cords or power strips to prevent electrical issues.
