Refer to the assembly manual provided with the elliptical. It includes step-by-step instructions, along with diagrams. Ensure all parts are present before starting.
Regularly lubricate the pivot points and check for loose bolts or screws. Tighten them as necessary to eliminate squeaks.
Use the resistance control buttons on the console to increase or decrease the resistance levels according to your workout needs.
Wipe down the machine with a damp cloth after each use to prevent sweat buildup. Regularly check for dust and debris, especially around moving parts.
Follow the calibration instructions in the user manual, which typically involves entering a calibration mode via specific console buttons.
Check that the power cord is properly plugged in and the outlet is functional. Inspect the power cord for damage and replace it if necessary.
Use the built-in display to monitor metrics such as time, distance, calories burned, and heart rate. Some models may support app connectivity for tracking.
Perform a general inspection monthly. Clean and lubricate as needed. Annually, perform a more thorough inspection of all components.
Use a silicone-based lubricant for the moving parts. Avoid using WD-40 or oil-based lubricants as they can attract dust and debris.
The Horizon Fitness EX-22 is equipped with transport wheels. Lift the rear stabilizer and push the machine to the desired location.
