To lubricate the belt, first ensure the treadmill is turned off and unplugged. Lift the belt slightly and apply a silicone-based lubricant directly beneath it. Spread the lubricant evenly by walking on the treadmill at a low speed for a few minutes.
Check if the treadmill is plugged into a working outlet and ensure the safety key is properly inserted. If the console still does not display, inspect the power switch and reset any tripped circuit breakers.
Enter the calibration mode by holding down the speed increase and stop buttons simultaneously while inserting the safety key. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the calibration process.
To fold the treadmill, lift the running deck until it locks into place. To unfold, press the release lever and carefully lower the deck to the ground. Ensure the area is clear of objects before unfolding.
An abrupt stop can occur if the safety key is dislodged or if there is a power interruption. Verify that the safety key is securely in place and check the power connections.
Perform maintenance checks monthly. This includes inspecting the belt and deck for wear, ensuring all bolts and nuts are tight, and cleaning the console and frame to prevent dust buildup.
If the belt is slipping, adjust the tension by turning the adjustment bolts located at the end of the treadmill. Turn each bolt a quarter turn clockwise to tighten the belt.
Test the incline by manually adjusting it through the console. If the incline does not change, listen for any unusual noises or check for any error codes displayed on the console.
Use a damp cloth to wipe down the treadmill's frame and console. Avoid using harsh chemicals. Ensure the treadmill is unplugged before cleaning. Clean the belt and deck with a soft brush to remove dust and debris.
A squeaking noise may indicate the need for lubrication. Lubricate the belt and check for any loose bolts. Tighten any loose parts and ensure the treadmill is on a level surface.
