To lubricate the belt, first unplug the treadmill. Lift the belt slightly and apply a silicone-based lubricant in a zigzag pattern across the deck. Run the treadmill at a slow speed for a few minutes to evenly distribute the lubricant.
First, ensure the treadmill is plugged in and the safety key is inserted. Check the circuit breaker and reset it if necessary. Inspect the power cord for damage. If the issue persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
Regular maintenance should be performed every three months, including checking belt tension, cleaning the deck, and inspecting for loose bolts or unusual noises. Lubricate the belt every 150 miles or as needed.
To adjust the belt tension, use the adjustment bolts located at the rear of the treadmill. Turn the bolts clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen. Ensure the belt is centered and has about 2-3 inches of lift when pulled up from the center.
A squeaking noise can indicate a need for lubrication or a loose belt. Lubricate the deck and check the belt tension. Inspect for any loose screws or bolts, and tighten them if necessary.
Run the treadmill at a slow speed and observe the belt's position. If it is not centered, adjust the rear roller bolts slightly until the belt is aligned. Make equal adjustments on both sides to maintain correct tension.
Check if the safety key is still in place. Inspect the power outlet and ensure the cord is securely plugged in. If the treadmill trips the circuit breaker frequently, consult with a technician.
Use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water to wipe down the console and frame. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or spraying water directly onto electronic components. Dry the surfaces with a clean towel afterward.
Refer to the user's manual for specific calibration instructions. Typically, you will need to access the setup mode through the console and follow the calibration procedure, which may involve adjusting the incline and speed settings.
Regularly clean the motor area to remove dust and debris. Ensure proper belt lubrication and avoid overloading the treadmill beyond its weight capacity. Schedule periodic maintenance checks to detect early signs of wear.
