Horizon Fitness T51 2005 User's Guide

To lubricate the belt, first unplug the treadmill. Lift the belt and apply a silicone-based lubricant to the deck underneath. Spread the lubricant evenly and then plug the treadmill back in, running it at a low speed for a few minutes to distribute the lubricant.
If the belt is slipping, adjust the tension using the adjustment bolts at the rear of the treadmill. Turn the bolts clockwise to tighten the belt and ensure it's centered. Test the treadmill at a low speed to ensure the issue is resolved.
To calibrate the speed, enter the engineering mode by pressing and holding specific buttons (refer to the manual for the combination). Follow the on-screen instructions to adjust the speed settings.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the treadmill after each use, checking and adjusting the belt tension monthly, and lubricating the deck every 150 miles or as needed.
To reset the console, unplug the treadmill for about 60 seconds. Plug it back in and press the reset button, usually located underneath the console.
Error codes typically indicate specific issues. Refer to the user manual for the code descriptions. Common solutions include checking connections, ensuring the safety key is in place, and resetting the treadmill.
Check if it's plugged in and that the power switch is on. Inspect the circuit breaker and reset it if necessary. Ensure the safety key is properly inserted.
To adjust the incline, use the incline buttons on the console. If the incline is not moving, check for motor issues or recalibrate the treadmill.
Use a 100% silicone-based lubricant, as recommended by Horizon Fitness, to ensure proper maintenance and performance.
Clean the treadmill by wiping down the console and belt with a damp cloth after each use. Vacuum around the treadmill regularly to prevent dust from building up under the motor cover.
