To start the treadmill, first ensure it is properly plugged in and the safety key is inserted. Press the 'Start' button on the console to begin operation. Use the speed and incline buttons to adjust your workout settings.
If the belt is slipping, check the belt tension. Unplug the treadmill, then use the adjustment bolts located at the rear of the treadmill to tighten the belt. Turn the bolts clockwise to increase tension, ensuring both sides are adjusted equally.
To lubricate the belt, first turn off and unplug the treadmill. Lift the belt slightly and apply a silicone-based lubricant along the underside. Spread the lubricant evenly by walking on the treadmill at a low speed for a few minutes.
Regular maintenance includes keeping the treadmill clean, checking and adjusting belt tension, lubricating the belt every 150 miles, and inspecting for wear and tear. Check the power cord and console for any damage periodically.
To calibrate the speed, enter the engineering mode by holding the 'Stop' and 'Speed +’ buttons simultaneously while inserting the safety key. Follow the on-screen instructions to adjust the speed settings.
If the treadmill stops suddenly, check if the safety key is in place. Ensure the power cord is securely connected, and inspect the circuit breaker. If issues persist, contact Horizon Fitness customer support.
Refer to the user manual for a list of error codes and troubleshooting steps. Common solutions include resetting the treadmill, checking connections, and ensuring proper calibration. Contact customer support if needed.
To fold the treadmill, ensure it is turned off and unplugged. Lift the deck until it locks in place. To unfold, hold the deck and push the release lever, then lower the deck gently to the floor.
Check the power supply and ensure the treadmill is plugged in. Inspect the connection of the console wires. If the display remains unresponsive, resetting the treadmill or contacting support may be necessary.
Use the incline buttons on the treadmill console to adjust the incline to your desired level. The settings allow for incremental adjustments to simulate different workout intensities.
