To adjust the seat, locate the seat adjustment lever beneath the seat. Pull the lever, slide the seat forward or backward to your desired position, and release the lever to lock the seat in place. Ensure the seat is securely locked before using the bike.
First, check the power connection and ensure the adapter is plugged in properly. If the display still doesn't work, inspect the wiring connections inside the console. If the issue persists, consider contacting Horizon Fitness customer support for further assistance.
Regularly inspect the chain or belt for signs of wear or damage. Clean it with a dry cloth to remove dust and debris. If the bike uses a chain, lubricate it with a suitable lubricant every few months. If it's a belt drive, ensure the belt tension is correct and adjust if necessary.
Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the frame and seat. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasives. For the console, use a cloth dampened with water and a mild detergent. Ensure the bike is unplugged during cleaning and dry all surfaces thoroughly before use.
Inspect the bike for loose bolts and tighten them as needed. Lubricate any moving parts, such as the pedals and seat adjustment mechanism. Check if the bike is placed on a level surface as an uneven floor can cause noise.
Check the console settings to ensure the resistance level is being adjusted. If it remains unchanged, inspect the wiring connections between the console and the resistance motor. If the problem persists, contact customer support for further troubleshooting.
It is recommended to service your recumbent bike every 6 to 12 months, depending on usage. Regular maintenance checks should include inspecting all moving parts, tightening bolts, and lubricating components as necessary.
To replace the pedals, use a pedal wrench to unscrew the existing pedals. Note that the left pedal is reverse-threaded. Attach the new pedals by screwing them into place, ensuring the correct pedal is on the appropriate side. Tighten securely with the wrench.
To reset the console, unplug the bike from the power source for about 30 seconds. After plugging it back in, press and hold the reset button on the console for a few seconds until the display resets.
Ensure that the bike is placed on a flat, stable surface. Check and tighten all bolts and screws. Adjust the leveling feet at the base of the bike to stabilize it. If wobbling continues, inspect the frame for any signs of damage.
