To lubricate the belt, first unplug the treadmill. Lift the belt and apply lubricant underneath, spreading it evenly across the deck. Plug the treadmill back in and walk on it at a slow speed for a few minutes to ensure even distribution.
If the belt is slipping, it may need tightening. Locate the adjustment bolts at the rear of the treadmill. Turn each bolt a quarter turn clockwise and test. Repeat if necessary, ensuring both sides are adjusted equally.
Enter the console's calibration mode by holding down the speed and stop buttons simultaneously. Follow the on-screen instructions to adjust the speed settings.
The maximum weight capacity for the Horizon Fitness GS1035T treadmill is 300 pounds (136 kg).
Perform maintenance every 150 miles or every three months, whichever comes first. This includes checking the belt alignment, lubrication, and tightening any loose bolts.
Ensure the treadmill is plugged into a working outlet and the safety key is properly inserted. Check the circuit breaker and reset if necessary. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
Use the incline buttons on the console to adjust the incline. The treadmill offers a range from 0% to 10%. Ensure the treadmill is running at a low speed while adjusting.
Loud noises can be due to improper belt alignment or lack of lubrication. Check the belt alignment and apply lubricant as needed. If the noise continues, inspect for any loose parts.
It is not recommended to use an extension cord as it can lead to power fluctuations. If necessary, use a heavy-duty extension cord with a minimum of 15 amps.
Check if the safety key has been pulled out accidentally. Ensure the power supply is consistent and the circuit breaker has not tripped. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact support.
