To lubricate the belt, first unplug the treadmill. Lift the belt slightly and apply a silicone-based lubricant along the sides under the belt. Spread it evenly by running the treadmill at a low speed for a few minutes.
Check that the treadmill is properly plugged into a power outlet. Inspect the power cord for damage. If the display is still unresponsive, try resetting the treadmill by holding down the reset button or unplugging and plugging it back in.
To adjust belt alignment, use the adjustment bolts located at the back of the treadmill. Turn the bolt on the side the belt is drifting towards to tighten and realign the belt. Adjust in small increments and test by running the treadmill.
Regular maintenance includes lubricating the belt every three months, checking for loose bolts, inspecting the power cord, and cleaning the treadmill surface to prevent dust accumulation.
A squeaking noise may indicate that the belt needs lubrication or the deck may need cleaning. Ensure the belt is aligned correctly and check for any foreign objects lodged in the belt area.
If the treadmill stops suddenly, it may have tripped the safety key or circuit breaker. Check and reset the circuit breaker, and ensure the safety key is properly inserted.
If the treadmill does not start, verify it's plugged into a working outlet. Check the safety key and ensure it's properly engaged. Inspect the power switch and reset the circuit breaker if necessary.
To clean the treadmill, use a damp cloth with a mild soap solution to wipe down the console and handrails. Avoid using excessive water and ensure the machine is unplugged during cleaning.
A slipping belt may need tension adjustment. Use the rear roller adjustment bolts to tighten the belt slightly. Ensure that the belt is not overly tight as it can cause wear.
Consult the user manual for details on specific error codes. Common fixes include resetting the treadmill, checking for obstructions, and ensuring all connections are secure.
