To calibrate the resistance levels, first ensure the elliptical is plugged in. Enter the setup mode by pressing and holding the 'Start' and 'Level Up' buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. Use the 'Level Up' or 'Level Down' buttons to adjust the resistance to your desired level. Press 'Start' to save the settings.
If the console display is not working, check to ensure the elliptical is properly plugged in and the outlet is functioning. Inspect the power cord for any visible damage. If the problem persists, you may need to reset the machine by unplugging it for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.
It is recommended to lubricate the moving parts of your elliptical every six months to ensure smooth operation. Use a silicone-based lubricant and avoid petroleum-based products.
Squeaking noises can often be resolved by lubricating the joints and moving parts. Check for any loose bolts or screws and tighten them as necessary. If the noise continues, inspect the pedals and handlebars for wear and tear.
The Horizon 645E Elliptical does not have an adjustable stride length feature. The stride length is fixed. However, adjusting your foot placement on the pedals can help you find a more comfortable stride.
Regular maintenance includes wiping down the machine after use, lubricating the moving parts every six months, and checking for loose bolts and screws. Inspect the power cord and ensure the machine is on a level surface to prevent rocking.
Ensure that the elliptical is plugged into a working outlet. Check the power cord for damage and the reset switch on the machine. If these steps do not resolve the issue, consult the user manual for further troubleshooting or contact customer support.
The Horizon 645E requires power for the console and resistance settings. While you can still pedal without power, you won't have access to the digital features or adjustable resistance levels.
To move the elliptical, first ensure it is powered off and unplugged. Use the built-in transport wheels by tilting the machine forward until it rests on the wheels, then carefully roll it to the desired location.
If the resistance feels incorrect, first try recalibrating the machine as described in the manual. Check for any error codes on the console. If recalibration does not help, contact Horizon Fitness customer support for assistance.
