To assemble the Horizon Fitness 2.3E Elliptical, follow the instructions in the manual closely. Ensure you have all the parts and tools required. Begin with the base, attach the pedals, and then proceed to the console. Tighten all screws securely.
If the elliptical squeaks, check for loose bolts and tighten them. Apply lubricant to the moving parts, especially the joints and pedals. Regular maintenance can prevent noise issues.
To calibrate resistance, access the settings menu on the console. Follow the instructions to set the resistance levels. If calibration fails, consult the manual or contact customer support.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the machine after use, checking and tightening bolts monthly, and lubricating the moving parts every six months. Ensure the power cord is in good condition.
Check if the machine is plugged in and the power switch is on. Inspect the power cord for damage. If the display still doesn’t work, replace the batteries in the console or contact technical support.
Store the elliptical in a dry, dust-free area. Cover it with a protective sheet to prevent dust accumulation. Ensure it is unplugged and the power switch is off during storage.
The Horizon Fitness 2.3E model does not have an adjustable stride length. It comes with a fixed stride length designed to accommodate most users.
First, check the resistance settings on the console. If it’s not responding correctly, perform a resistance calibration. If issues persist, inspect the tension belt and adjust if necessary.
Ensure your hands are clean and dry before using the hand grip sensors. Hold the sensors firmly and avoid moving your hands during measurement for accurate readings.
Inspect the pedal arms for wear and ensure they are securely attached. Check the drive belt for tension and wear, and adjust or replace it as necessary.
