Hisense AP0821CRW Use And Installation Instruction

To install the Hisense AP0821CRW, position the unit near a window and attach the window exhaust kit. Ensure the window slider is secure and that the exhaust hose is connected from the unit to the window kit. Plug the unit into a grounded outlet and turn it on.
Check if the air filter is clean and the exhaust hose is properly installed. Ensure doors and windows are closed to prevent warm air from entering. Set the temperature to a lower setting and ensure the fan speed is appropriate.
Clean the air filter every two weeks to maintain efficiency. Remove the filter from the back of the unit, rinse it with warm water, and let it dry completely before reinstalling.
The E5 error code indicates that the water reservoir is full. Drain the unit by removing the drain plug and allowing the water to empty into a suitable container.
The unit requires the exhaust hose to vent hot air outside. Using it without the hose will reduce cooling efficiency and may cause the unit to overheat.
Ensure the unit is placed on a level surface and that nothing is obstructing the fan. Check for loose parts or debris inside the unit. If the noise persists, contact customer support.
To improve energy efficiency, keep the unit out of direct sunlight, seal any leaks in the room, and use curtains to block heat. Regularly clean the filter and set the temperature to a moderate setting.
Check if the drain plug is securely in place and the unit is on a level surface. Ensure the exhaust hose is properly installed. If leaks continue, inspect for blockages in the drainage system.
To store the unit, turn it off and unplug it. Drain any remaining water, clean the filter, and coil the power cord. Store the unit in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
It is not recommended to use an extension cord with the Hisense AP0821CRW. If necessary, use a heavy-duty extension cord rated for the unit's power draw to reduce the risk of overheating.
