Ensure your camera is powered off. Remove the original lens protector by turning it counterclockwise. Align the Max Lens Mod with the lens and turn it clockwise until it clicks into place.
For the best results, use the Max Lens Mod with HyperSmooth stabilization and set your camera to the Max SuperView digital lens for ultra-wide shots.
The Max Lens Mod is not designed for underwater use. It is recommended to remove the mod before using your GoPro in water to prevent damage.
Use a microfiber cloth to gently wipe the lens. For stubborn smudges, a lens cleaning solution can be used. Avoid using abrasive materials that may scratch the lens.
Blurry footage can result from fingerprints or smudges on the lens. Ensure the lens is clean and properly attached. Check camera settings to ensure they are optimized for the mod.
The Max Lens Mod is specifically designed for the GoPro HERO9 and HERO10 models. It is not compatible with older GoPro models.
To reduce lens flare, avoid shooting directly into bright light sources. Adjust your angle or use a lens hood if possible.
The Max Lens Mod provides an ultra-wide 155-degree field of view, which is ideal for capturing expansive landscapes and action shots.
Freezing can occur if the firmware is outdated. Make sure your camera's firmware is up to date. If the problem persists, try resetting the camera or removing and reattaching the mod.
Store the lens mod in a protective case when not in use and avoid placing it face down on rough surfaces. Use lens covers to protect it during storage and transport.
