To assemble the Flymo EasiStore 380R, start by attaching the lower handles to the mower body. Secure them with the included bolts. Next, attach the upper handle to the lower handle using the quick-release levers. Finally, install the grass box by aligning it with the rear of the mower and snap it into place.
If the mower does not start, first check the power supply and ensure the extension cable is connected properly. Verify that the safety key is inserted correctly. Check for any tripped circuit breakers or blown fuses. If the problem persists, consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
Blades should be sharpened at least once a year or after every 25 hours of use. Regularly inspect the blades for damage or dullness and sharpen or replace them as needed to maintain optimal cutting performance.
To clean the mower, first ensure it is unplugged. Use a brush or cloth to remove grass clippings from the undercarriage, blades, and wheels. Avoid using water to clean electrical components. For stubborn dirt, a damp cloth can be used on non-electrical parts.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on the side of the mower. Move the lever to the desired position, ranging from 20mm to 60mm. Ensure the mower is on a flat surface and powered off when making adjustments.
Check if the blades are dull or damaged and sharpen or replace them if necessary. Ensure the cutting height is set appropriately for the grass length. Also, make sure the mower is not overloaded with grass clippings, which can impede performance.
Clean the mower thoroughly and remove any grass clippings. Fold the handles to save space. Store the mower in a dry, frost-free location. Ensure the power cable is coiled neatly and not under tension to prevent damage.
Regularly check and tighten any loose bolts or screws. Inspect the power cable for damage. Clean the mower after each use to prevent grass build-up. Sharpen the blades annually and replace them if they show signs of wear or damage.
Excessive vibration may be due to an imbalanced or damaged blade. Inspect the blade for damage and ensure it is securely attached. If the blade is bent or damaged, replace it to resolve the vibration issue.
It is not recommended to use the mower on wet grass as it can lead to poor cutting performance and clogging. Wet grass can also increase the risk of electrical hazards. Wait until the grass is dry for optimal mowing results.
