To connect the projector to a computer, use a VGA, HDMI, or DVI cable. Ensure that the computer's display settings are set to duplicate or extend the display to the projector.
Check if the power cable is securely connected and the power outlet is working. Verify that the projector's standby mode is not active. If the problem persists, inspect the lamp and replace it if needed.
Turn off and unplug the projector. Remove the filters from the side and bottom of the projector and use a small vacuum or soft brush to remove dust. Reinstall the filters securely.
Regularly clean the air filters every 100 hours of use and replace the lamp every 2500 hours. Check the projector's manual for additional maintenance tasks.
Use the zoom and focus rings located on the projector lens. For more precise adjustments, use the lens shift feature to position the image correctly on the screen.
Adjust the focus ring on the projector lens. Ensure the projector is positioned at the recommended distance from the screen. Clean the lens with a soft, lint-free cloth if necessary.
Replace the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there is a clear line of sight to the projector's IR sensor. If problems persist, check for interference from other electronic devices.
Download the latest firmware from the Epson website. Follow the instructions provided, typically involving connecting the projector to a computer via USB and running the firmware update utility.
Access the projector's menu, navigate to the 'Reset' option, and select 'Reset All'. Confirm the action to restore factory settings. Note that this will erase all custom settings.
Ensure the projector is placed in a well-ventilated area with unobstructed air vents. Regularly clean the air filters and avoid blocking the intake and exhaust fans.
