Unpack the heater and place it on a stable, flat surface. Ensure it's at least 3 feet away from any objects. Plug it into a standard outlet and turn the thermostat dial to the desired setting.
Check if the power cord is properly plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the thermostat dial is set above the current room temperature. If it still doesn't turn on, check the circuit breaker or fuse box.
Turn off the heater and unplug it. Allow it to cool completely. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or immersing the heater in water.
Ensure the heater is clean and dry. Wrap the power cord around the built-in cord wrap. Cover the heater with a cloth or store it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place.
The clicking noise is normal and is caused by the expansion and contraction of the heater's metal components as they heat up and cool down.
Ensure the heater is on a flat surface and not covered or blocked by objects. Check for dust buildup and clean the heater if necessary. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
It's recommended not to use an extension cord with the heater. If necessary, use a heavy-duty extension cord rated for the heater's power consumption to avoid overheating hazards.
Set the thermostat to the lowest comfortable setting to reduce energy consumption. Avoid setting it to the maximum, as this can lead to higher energy bills and wear.
While the heater is equipped with safety features, it's generally best to turn it off when unattended or sleeping to reduce risks. Use the timer feature if available for peace of mind.
Turn off and unplug the heater immediately. Inspect for visible damage or obstructions. If the smell persists, discontinue use and contact customer service for further assistance.
