To turn on the DeLonghi TRDX4, plug it into a power outlet and use the power switch located on the side of the unit. Adjust the thermostat dial to your desired temperature setting.
Ensure that the power cord is properly plugged in and that the thermostat is set to a higher temperature. If the problem persists, check if the unit is in 'Anti-freeze' mode which maintains a lower temperature.
Before cleaning, turn off the heater and unplug it. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the heater in water.
Regularly dust the heater using a soft cloth. Check the power cord and plug for any damage. Ensure the heater is stored in a dry place when not in use.
The DeLonghi TRDX4 is not designed for use in bathrooms or areas with high humidity due to the risk of electrical shock.
If the heater shuts off unexpectedly, it might be due to the overheat protection feature. Turn off the heater, allow it to cool, and ensure it's not obstructed before turning it back on.
Ensure the heater is turned off, unplugged, and completely cool. Store it in a dry, dust-free location. Avoid wrapping the cord tightly around the heater.
It is not recommended to use an extension cord with the heater. If necessary, ensure the extension cord is rated for the heater's power requirements.
Turn off and unplug the heater immediately. Check for any visible damage or dust accumulation. If the issue persists after cleaning, contact DeLonghi customer support.
The DeLonghi TRDX4 is designed to be energy efficient with adjustable thermostat settings and an ECO function to optimize energy consumption.
