To adjust the grind size on the DeLonghi KG79, turn the grind size selector located on the side of the grinder. You can choose between fine, medium, or coarse grind settings.
If the grinder stops working, check if it is plugged in securely and that the power outlet is functioning. Ensure the bean container and ground coffee containers are properly positioned. Press the power button again to restart.
It is recommended to clean the grinder at least once a month. Regular cleaning prevents coffee residue buildup, which can affect the grinder's performance and the taste of your coffee.
To clean the burrs, first unplug the grinder. Remove the bean hopper and use a brush to gently clean the burrs. Do not use water or any liquid cleaners.
You can use any type of coffee beans with the DeLonghi KG79. However, avoid oily or flavored beans as they can clog the grinder and affect performance.
Weak coffee may result from using a grind setting that is too coarse. Adjust the grind size to a finer setting and ensure you are using the correct amount of coffee for your brewing method.
It is not recommended to grind spices with the DeLonghi KG79, as this could affect the taste of your coffee and damage the grinder. Use it exclusively for coffee beans.
To reduce static cling, try grounding the machine by touching a metal surface before use. Additionally, grinding at a slower speed may help reduce static buildup.
The bean hopper of the DeLonghi KG79 can hold approximately 120 grams of coffee beans, which is sufficient for multiple cups of coffee.
If the grinder makes unusual noises, check for any foreign objects in the hopper or burrs. Ensure the burrs are properly aligned and tightened. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
