To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired temperature for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
Check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure the doors are closed properly and the temperature settings are correct. If the problem persists, clean the condenser coils and check if the vents are blocked.
The DeLonghi DSSBSX20G Refrigerator features an automatic defrost system, so manual defrosting is not required. However, if you notice excessive frost buildup, check the door seals for leaks.
Locate the water filter at the back of the refrigerator or near the vegetable crisper. Twist the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Rinse it under running water and replace it by twisting it clockwise until secure.
Unusual noises can be caused by the refrigerator not being level, items inside vibrating, or the ice maker operating. Ensure the refrigerator is on a flat surface and check for loose items.
To reset the ice maker, turn off the ice maker using the switch or control panel, wait a few minutes, and then turn it back on. If the issue continues, consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
Store food in airtight containers and keep raw meat on the lower shelves to prevent dripping onto other foods. Use the crisper drawers for fruits and vegetables. Ensure the refrigerator is not overcrowded to allow air circulation.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light bulb cover inside the refrigerator, remove it, and unscrew the old bulb. Replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage, then reattach the cover.
Water pooling can be due to a blocked defrost drain. Check and clear the defrost drain located at the back of the refrigerator. Alternatively, ensure that the water filter is installed correctly.
To improve energy efficiency, ensure door seals are airtight, avoid frequent door openings, and keep the refrigerator at least two-thirds full for optimal air circulation. Regularly clean the condenser coils to maintain performance.
