To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the temperature control dial to set your desired level, with lower numbers for warmer settings and higher numbers for colder settings.
First, ensure the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Check if the temperature setting is appropriate. If the issue persists, inspect the door seals for any gaps and clean the condenser coils. If none of these steps resolve the issue, contact customer support for assistance.
Manual defrosting is typically required once or twice a year or when the ice build-up reaches around 1/4 inch thick. Make sure to transfer food to a cooler before defrosting.
Remove all food items and shelves. Use a mixture of warm water and mild detergent to wipe down the interior surfaces. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
This may be due to a clogged defrost drain. Locate the drain hole at the back of the fridge compartment and use a pipe cleaner or similar tool to clear any blockages.
Unplug the refrigerator and locate the light cover inside the fridge. Remove the cover, unscrew the old bulb, and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the fridge back in.
Check if the door seals are clean and free from debris. Ensure that the fridge is level and that food items are not obstructing the door. If necessary, adjust the door hinges according to the user manual.
Ensure the refrigerator is in a cool, well-ventilated area and away from heat sources. Keep the door closed as much as possible and ensure the seals are intact. Regularly clean the condenser coils to maintain efficiency.
Package food in airtight containers or freezer bags to prevent freezer burn. Label items with the date of storage and organize similar items together for easy access. Avoid overloading the freezer to maintain airflow.
After a power outage, simply plug the refrigerator back in and allow it to reach the desired temperature. Check and adjust the temperature settings if necessary. Keep the door closed to help the fridge stabilize more quickly.
