To reset the DeLonghi DDWTTS20 Dishwasher, press and hold the Start/Reset button for 3 seconds until the indicator lights flash. Release the button and wait for the dishwasher to reset.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Ensure that the sink drain is clear. Clean the filter and check for any obstructions in the dishwasher's drain pump.
Use a rinse aid to enhance drying performance. Ensure that the dishwasher is not overloaded and that items are not touching each other. Choose a program with a higher drying temperature if available.
Regularly clean the filter, spray arms, and door seals. Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner monthly to prevent build-up. Inspect and clean the drain hose periodically.
Remove the spray arms by unscrewing or unclipping them. Rinse under warm water and use a toothpick to clear any blocked holes. Reattach the spray arms securely before using the dishwasher.
Ensure that dishes are loaded correctly and not touching each other. Check for loose items in the dishwasher, such as utensils. Inspect the spray arms for obstructions or damage.
Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. Check that the dishwasher is plugged in and that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Verify that the water supply is turned on.
Use only dishwasher-specific detergents. Avoid using hand dishwashing liquids as they can cause excessive suds and damage the dishwasher.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack and smaller items like glasses and cups on the top rack. Ensure that items do not block the spray arms or detergent dispenser.
Food debris in the filter or on the spray arms can cause odor. Regularly clean these components. Run a cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of vinegar to eliminate odors.
