To start a wash cycle, load your dishes into the dishwasher, add detergent to the dispenser, close the door securely, select the desired wash cycle using the control panel, and press the start button.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Ensure the sink drain is not blocked and clean the dishwasher's filter and drain pump for any obstructions.
Ensure that you are using a rinse aid, which helps with the drying process. Also, make sure that the dishwasher is not overloaded and that the selected cycle includes a drying phase.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the filter, checking and cleaning the spray arms, inspecting the door seal for residue build-up, and running a dishwasher cleaner through a cycle monthly.
Refer to the user manual to adjust the water hardness setting. This usually involves pressing a combination of buttons on the control panel to enter the settings menu and selecting the appropriate hardness level.
Ensure you are using the correct amount of detergent and a rinse aid. Check that the water softener is set correctly according to your local water hardness level.
Remove the lower rack to access the filter. Twist the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Rinse the filter under running water and use a soft brush to remove debris before reinstalling it.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the lower rack, ensuring they do not block the spray arms. Load glasses and smaller items on the upper rack, and avoid nesting dishes.
Ensure that no items are obstructing the spray arms and that dishes are loaded correctly. Check for any loose parts or debris in the pump or filter area.
To reset the dishwasher, press the start/reset button and hold it for a few seconds until the indicator lights flash. This will reset the control panel.
