To reset the DeLonghi DDW60X17 Dishwasher, press and hold the start button for about 3 seconds until the display shows a reset indication or all lights flash. This will reset the dishwasher to its default settings.
First, check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Clean the filter and remove any debris. Ensure that the sink drain is not blocked. If the problem persists, inspect the dishwasher's drain pump for obstructions.
Remove the bottom rack to access the filter. Twist the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Rinse it under running water to remove food particles. Reassemble the filter by twisting it back into place clockwise.
An E4 error code indicates a water leakage problem. Check for leaks in the hoses and ensure the dishwasher is level. Inspect the door gasket for damage and replace it if necessary.
Ensure that the spray arms are not blocked by large items and can rotate freely. Use the correct amount of detergent and ensure the water temperature is at least 120°F (49°C). Clean the filter and ensure it is properly seated.
Open the rinse aid dispenser by turning the cap counterclockwise. Adjust the setting using the adjustment dial inside the dispenser. Turn it to increase or decrease the amount of rinse aid dispensed per cycle.
Regularly clean the filters, spray arms, and door seals. Check and clean the drain hose. Run an empty cycle with vinegar or a dishwasher cleaner to remove limescale and odors. Inspect and clean the detergent dispenser.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack facing downwards. Arrange dishes and bowls at an angle to allow water to reach all surfaces. Place cutlery in the basket with handles facing down. Avoid overloading to ensure water circulation.
Ensure that the racks are properly aligned and not overfilled. Check for obstructions around the door seal and latch. Inspect the door latch mechanism for any damage or misalignment.
Regularly clean the filters and check for food debris. Run a cleaning cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or vinegar. Ensure dishes are not left sitting dirty in the dishwasher for extended periods. Leave the door slightly ajar after cycles to allow airflow.
