To reset the DeLonghi DDW60S19 dishwasher, press and hold the start/pause button for three seconds until you hear a beep. This should reset the control panel.
Check the drain hose for any kinks or blockages. Ensure the sink drain is not clogged. Also, clean the dishwasher filter to prevent debris build-up that could impede drainage.
Remove the lower dish rack and locate the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher. Turn it counterclockwise to remove, then rinse it under running water to remove debris. Reinstall by placing it back and turning clockwise.
Spots on glassware can be caused by hard water. Use a rinse aid to help prevent spotting. Additionally, ensure you are using the correct amount of detergent and that the water temperature is appropriate.
For heavily soiled dishes, use the intensive cycle. This cycle uses higher temperatures and a longer wash time to tackle tough food residues.
It's recommended to clean the spray arms every 3-6 months, or more frequently if you notice reduced cleaning performance. Remove them as per the manual and rinse under running water to clear any blockages.
Check for any obstructions around the door seal and ensure that the racks are properly aligned. Inspect the door latch for damage and replace if necessary.
Unusual noises can be due to items improperly placed in the racks, loose cutlery, or a clogged spray arm. Ensure everything is positioned securely and check the spray arms for obstructions.
Run the dishwasher with full loads, use the eco or energy-saving cycle, and avoid using the heated dry option. Regular maintenance like cleaning filters can also improve efficiency.
Ensure the dishwasher is properly plugged in and the door is closed securely. Check the circuit breaker and any fuses. Verify that the water supply is turned on.
