To clean the De Dietrich DTG1101X hob, wait for it to cool completely. Use a soft cloth or sponge with warm soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to prevent scratches.
Check if the hob is properly connected to the power supply. Ensure that the circuit breaker is not tripped. If the issue persists, contact a qualified technician for inspection.
Press and hold the lock key (usually depicted by a lock icon) for a few seconds until the indicator light turns on. This will activate the control lock feature.
Ensure that the cookware being used is flat and fits the size of the cooking zone. Uneven heating can also occur if the base of the cookware is not clean.
The De Dietrich DTG1101X is a gas hob. Induction cookware is not necessary and will not affect the hob's performance.
Press the control knob down and turn it counter-clockwise to the ignition symbol. Hold the knob down until the burner lights, then adjust to the desired flame level.
Regularly clean the burners and remove any food spills. Check for blockages in the burner holes and clean with a soft brush. Ensure that the burners are correctly positioned after cleaning.
Immediately turn off all burners and open windows to ventilate the area. Do not use electrical devices or create sparks. Contact your gas supplier or a professional technician to inspect the hob.
The flame size can be adjusted using the control knob. Turn it clockwise to decrease the flame and counter-clockwise to increase it. Ensure the flame covers the base of the cookware without extending beyond it.
A yellow or orange flame indicates incomplete combustion. Check for blockages in the burner or improper placement. If the issue persists, contact a professional technician for a gas pressure check.
