To activate the child lock, press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns on. This will prevent accidental changes to the hob settings.
Ensure the hob is properly connected to the power supply and check that the circuit breaker is not tripped. Also, verify that the correct cooking zone is selected and the power level is set appropriately.
Use a soft cloth or sponge with a mild detergent to clean the ceramic surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads as they may scratch the surface.
A buzzing noise can occur due to the induction technology, especially at high power levels. This is normal, but if the noise is excessive, ensure the cookware is suitable for induction hobs.
To reset the hob, turn it off completely and disconnect it from the power supply for a few minutes. Reconnect and turn it back on to resume normal operation.
Compatible cookware includes pots and pans with a flat magnetic base, such as those made from stainless steel or cast iron. Avoid using glass, ceramic, or aluminum cookware unless it is specifically designed for induction cooking.
To prevent scratches, lift cookware rather than sliding it across the surface. Use cookware with smooth bases and avoid placing rough objects on the hob.
Error code "E2" usually indicates that the hob is overheating. Allow the hob to cool down before attempting to use it again. Ensure proper ventilation and that the cooling fan is not obstructed.
To optimize energy efficiency, use cookware that matches the size of the cooking zone and keep lids on pots to reduce heat loss. Also, use lower power settings when possible.
Regularly clean the hob surface, check and clean the ventilation openings, and inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for proper use and care.
