To unlock the De Dietrich DTE1110B hob, press and hold the key lock button for a few seconds until the lock symbol disappears from the display.
Ensure that the hob is properly connected to the power supply and that the circuit breaker is not tripped. Also, check if the correct cooking zone is selected and the appropriate power level is set.
Use a soft cloth and a mild cleaning agent to wipe the surface. Avoid abrasive cleaners and sharp objects that might scratch the glass surface.
An 'F' error code usually indicates a fault or malfunction. Refer to the user manual for specific error code meanings and recommended actions. If unresolved, contact customer service.
The hob is compatible with flat-bottomed cookware made of materials that are good conductors of heat, such as stainless steel or iron. Avoid using glass or ceramic cookware.
To set the timer, select the desired cooking zone, then press the timer button and adjust the time using the '+' or '-' buttons. The hob will automatically turn off the zone once the set time elapses.
Regularly clean the hob surface after use, check for any damage or wear on the power cord, and ensure that ventilation openings are not blocked.
The clicking noise is typically the sound of the electrical relays or the induction elements cycling on and off to maintain the set temperature. It is a normal operational sound.
To reset the hob to factory settings, refer to the user manual for the specific button sequence or procedure, as this may vary depending on the model version.
Ensure that the control panel is clean and dry, as moisture or dirt can affect sensitivity. If the problem persists, disconnect the hob from the power supply for a few minutes before reconnecting it.
