To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the temperature adjustment buttons to set your desired temperature. The recommended setting is 37°F (3°C) for the refrigerator and 0°F (-18°C) for the freezer.
Check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure the vents inside the fridge are not blocked by food items. Check the temperature settings and adjust if necessary. Clean the condenser coils located at the back of the unit to improve cooling efficiency.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every six months. This helps maintain the cooling efficiency and prolongs the lifespan of the refrigerator.
Water pooling can be due to a blocked defrost drain. Check and clear any obstructions in the drain hole located at the back of the refrigerator compartment. Regular cleaning can prevent this issue.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover and remove it by pressing the release tabs or unscrewing it. Replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage, then reattach the cover.
Store raw meats on the lowest shelf to prevent cross-contamination. Keep dairy products and eggs on the middle shelves, fruits and vegetables in the crisper drawers, and condiments in the door compartments.
To defrost the freezer, remove all food items and unplug the refrigerator. Leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt naturally. Clean and dry the interior before plugging the refrigerator back in.
Ensure the refrigerator door seals are airtight. Avoid placing hot food directly inside. Keep the refrigerator full but not overcrowded, and defrost the freezer regularly to maintain efficiency.
Loud noises can be due to the compressor or fan. Ensure the refrigerator is level and not touching walls or cabinets. If the noise persists, contact a service technician for further diagnosis.
After a power outage, wait for a few minutes before plugging the refrigerator back in. Check the temperature settings and adjust if necessary. Monitor the appliance to ensure it is functioning correctly.
