To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the up and down arrows to set the desired temperature for both the fridge and freezer compartments.
First, ensure that the unit is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Check if the temperature settings are correct. Clean the condenser coils and ensure there is adequate airflow around the appliance.
The DRS926JE features an automatic defrost function, so manual defrosting is not necessary. However, if ice buildup occurs, ensure the door seals are intact and not obstructed.
To clean the compartments, unplug the refrigerator, remove all food, and use a mild detergent with warm water. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Rinse and dry thoroughly before placing food back inside.
Unusual noises may be due to the refrigerator not being level, items inside vibrating, or normal expansion and contraction of internal components. Ensure the unit is on a stable surface and check for loose items.
Locate the water filter compartment inside the refrigerator. Turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it is secure. Run water through the dispenser for a few minutes to clear any air.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the water supply is connected. Check for any ice blockages in the ice maker or water line. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
Unplug the refrigerator before replacing the light bulb. Remove the cover over the light bulb, unscrew the old bulb, and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Replace the cover and plug the unit back in.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the condenser coils every six months, checking door seals for integrity, and ensuring proper airflow around the unit. Also, replace the water filter as recommended.
To reset the control panel, unplug the refrigerator for about 5 minutes, then plug it back in. If issues persist, refer to the user manual or contact customer support for further assistance.
