Ensure the tractor is on a level surface, the parking brake is engaged, and the blade engagement switch is off. Then, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the start position.
It is recommended to check the oil level before each use, clean the air filter every 25 hours, and replace the spark plug every 100 hours or annually.
Check the battery connections, ensure the fuel tank is not empty, and verify that the spark plug is clean and functional.
Use SAE 30 motor oil for temperatures above 32°F and SAE 5W-30 for temperatures below 32°F.
Turn off the tractor, disconnect the spark plug, raise the deck to its highest position, and remove the blade bolts using a wrench. Replace with new blades and secure tightly.
Check if the blades are dull or damaged, ensure the deck is level, and verify that the tire pressure is consistent on all four tires.
After ensuring the tractor is off and cool, use a garden hose to spray under the deck, removing any grass clippings and debris.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place, and cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
Use the height adjustment lever located on the tractor to select the desired cutting height ranging from 1.5 to 4 inches.
Excessive vibration may be caused by an unbalanced blade, loose bolts, or worn out parts. Inspect and tighten all hardware and replace any damaged components.
